About

Andrew Albert

Andrew Albert is an accomplished and recognized mediator throughout California. When he became a full-time neutral, he was immediately identified by the Daily Journal in 2009 as one of California's Ten Up and Comers in their Top Neutrals of the year edition. In both 2012 and 2013, the same publication honored Mr. Albert as one of the Top 50 Neutrals in California.

Since 2007, Mr. Albert has mediated approximately 1,200 cases. Mr. Albert is a Fellow in the International Academy of Mediators. He has a regional practice, with offices throughout Southern California, now expanding into Northern California.

Mr. Albert focuses on working with the parties to help them shape their own resolution. His approach is to begin by putting the trust and faith in each party to know the solution to their dispute better than anyone else. In the process of working through the issues, he helps to direct the parties to achieve it, while keeping everyone away from "absolutes" which often lead to impasse.

Not to say every dispute instantly resolves. When faced with a true impasse that the parties find insurmountable, Albert's hands-on approach, assertiveness, follow-through after the mediation and experience tackling the toughest issues truly shines through.
